Our Chiropractic Physician
Antonina "Tina" McKay, D.C.
Dr. Antonina (Tina) McKay is a native of Fayette County and graduated from Fayette County High School. She went on to attend the State University of West Georgia before deciding to pursue a career in the nursing field at Georgia Perimeter College.
While attending Georgia Perimeter College, Dr. McKay was involved in an automobile accident resulting in long-term pain and problems. After a great deal of encouragement, Dr. McKay finally decided to go to a Chiropractor. Once the nerve interference that was the source of her pain was removed, the problems that had plagued her for years started to slowly disappear. A firm believer in the power of Chiropractic care, Dr. McKay decided to undertake the challenge of becoming a Chiropractic Physician. She specializes in extremities, low force, pediatrics, and family care.
In June of 1999, Dr. McKay graduated from LifeUniversity. She elected to start her practice in the high-growth Coweta County area close to her many patients and friends. Tina has two beautiful children, Blake and Shelby.

functional NutritioNal Response specialist and Inventory Specialist
Our Functional Nutritional Response Testing (FNRT) Specialist performs a non-invasive full body scan by testing the body’s neurological reflex points to uncover areas of weakness or dysfunction. Based on the analysis, specific nutritional formulas and/or herbal compounds from Standard Process and MediHerb are selected to strengthen any weak areas thus creating balance in the body and allowing the body to optimally begin the healing process. During testing our FNRT Specialist will test for common immune stressors like heavy metals, chemical toxicity, food sensitivities, candida/fungal overgrowths, allergies or intolerances, hidden bacterial or viral infections, and weak or underfunctioning organs/systems. Following testing a brief consultation is done to explain the findings and how they pertain to the patient's symptoms. A personalized supplementation program tailored to the patients unique needs is created based on the findings, along with a plan of action to address the issues. The FNRT Specialist schedules regular follow-up appointments to ensure the patient is progressing as expected, and to make adjustments as needed. We find that Functional Nutritional Response testing is an exceptional way to help our patients by uncovering critical neurovisceral dysfunction that impedes patients reaching their full optimal health potential. They keep track of our Standard Process and MediHerb supplements. They also provide support to the front desk and/or the floor.
Licensed Massage Therapists
We have multiple Licensed Massage Therapists on staff in order to assist you in reaching your health goals. A licensed massage therapist's job involves using massage techniques to manipulate the body's soft tissues, aiming to relieve pain, reduce stress, and promote overall wellness. They assess clients' needs, assist the Doctor of Chiropractic in developing a personalized prescription of care within the scope of the licensed massage therapist realm and provide massages using various modalities and techniques. These techniques can vary from deep tissue massage, sports massage, myofascial release, and stretching to loosen muscles, improve circulation, and reduce pain and inflammation. They also offer advice on stretching, strengthening, and how to improve posture. Integrating massage therapy in coordination with chiropractic care adjustments offers a more holistic approach to healthcare, addressing both the musculoskeletal system and the surrounding soft tissues. Massage therapy helps to relax and loosen muscles surrounding the spine and joints, increase blood flow, and improve flexibility. This combination of therapies can lead to reduced pain, improved range of motion, and a more holistic approach to wellness. The specific techniques used and the timing of massage therapy within a prescription of care will be tailored to the individual patient's needs and the chiropractor's recommendations.
"Very pleased with the practice. The service is excellent and everyone seems to truly care about you as a person first. Most businesses see customers or money walking in, but these practitioners love what they do. It shows."
